PachyForge is a community owned and operated Web site designed to improve communications and promote growth within the Pachyderm open source community. The site is intended serve both Pachyderm developers and end-users in sharing ideas and supporting one another.

Pachyderm 2.1.0 Beta Installer Released |

On Tuesday, December 15th, a group of 14 beta testers began testing the Java-basd multi-platform installer for Pachyderm 2.1.0.1. The installer has been sucessfully tested on Pachyderm on Windows XP, Windows 7, Macintosh OSX Snow Leopard and Leopard Server. The development team anticipates that this version of Pachyderm can be successfully installed on Windows 2003 server, Windows NT and OSX Tiger. Testing will conclude on January 1, 2009 and a public version of the installer and Pachyderm 2.1.0.1 should be released shortly afterwards. California State University's Center for Distributed Learning has made one of the Elixer project sites available as a demonstration of some of the new features included in Pachyderm 2.1. Please note that this project was developed with a Beta version of 2.1 not all of the features are fully functional. View demo project
